Guided by the principles of patience and a deep love for animals, Dathan Pyle founded The FIDO Academy after a distinguished 20-year career in Law Enforcement. His passion for dogs led him to his current role with the Lee County Sheriff's Office Cell Dog Program.

As an instructor for the Cell Dog program, Dathan teaches inmates how to train shelter dogs in basic obedience, transforming once-overlooked animals into highly adoptable companions and saving hundreds of lives. This unique, hands-on experience has given him a powerful perspective on the impact of structured, positive training.

To complement his extensive practical experience, Dathan earned a professional certification in Dog Obedience from the prestigious Victoria Stilwell Academy for Dog Training and Behavior. This training, from the renowned star of TV's It's Me or the Dog, solidified his commitment to using the most modern and humane training methods.

At The FIDO Academy, Dathan combines his proven field experience with his formal education to help clients build stronger, more fulfilling relationships with their dogs.
